What is the recommended mounting height for the doorbell? The doorbell should be placed 1.4m to 1.5m or 4.6ft to 4.9ft above the ground. How to better connect IMOU Doorbell Kit？ 1, Please keep the antenna of the paired IMOU Chime in an upright position for better signal coverage. 2, Please   DO NOT   install IMOU Doorbell on metal doors, and try to install it on the side of the door to prevent the signal from being shielded. 3, It is recommended to install the IMOU Chime as close to the doorbell as possible (less than 3-5m from the IMOU Doorbell is recommended). If the IMOU Doorbell is far from the router, placing the IMOU Chime between the doorbell and the router is recommended, rather than putting them in further rooms if you only have 1 IMOU Chime. 4, Minimizing obstructions between IMOU Chime and Doorbell (e.g. walls, large appliances, etc.) to have a better connection.
